Congress (I): BSP crumbling under weight of corruption and crime

Congress (I) has said ruling BSP has created so much corruption in the state that now Mayawati’s BSP party has begun to fall apart under the load of its own sins. All is not well in the ruling BSP in UP. Resentment is brewing among its elected members and functionaries over 'growing influence and interference' of some 'unelectable and unelected' in the government functioning and party affairs. Maya’s stalwarts are feeling dejected. The winning combination is missing this time. Babu Singh Kushwaha was instrumental in bringing backward classes close to BSP in 2007. He was removed by Maya from Family Welfare Department following murder of two doctors dealing with NRHM funds although many say he was not at fault. This has sent a wrong signal to the backward classes. Similarly S.C. Mishra, who was a Brahmin face, was removed by Maya from minister ship. After assuming power, there are frictions among different groups on power sharing. Some are carrying the feeling of being betrayed and other for not having got what they wanted. It is right time for Mayawati government to pack up and go, said Congress (I).
