Congress (I) has said people of Uttar Pradesh have lost confidence in Mayawati government for its misdeeds and mismanagement. Mayawati had given many promises before Assembly elections in 2007. People believed that she will deliver what she was promising, said Congress (I). But later it turned out that it was only a trick to get votes of the people. Once in power Mayawati did not fulfill even one of her promise, said Congress (I). All along Mayawati has been functioning arbitrarily and shown insensitivity towards people. She did not care for handloom and Silk weavers in Poorvanchal. Drought hit Bundelkhand was altogether ignored by Mayawati. In western UP instead of helping the poor farmers Mayawati conspired with big bigness men to grab lands of farmers in the name of acquiring land. For all this misdeeds the people of Uttar Pradesh have lost confidence in Mayawati, said Congress (I).
