Congress alleges Solar Energy scam under Maya rule

Congress (I) has accused Mayawati of breaking all the past records of corruption in Uttar Pradesh.  Under the pretext of encouraging use of Solar Energy Mayawati government allotted huge budget.  To save energy Mayawati government installed solar energy lights all over the state. But at most of the places these solar energy lights do not work. Even the government data of solar energy lights installed does not match actual installations of this equipment confirming thereby manipulations of figures and pocketing of huge money by corrupt official.  In addition to this Non Conventional Energy Sources Agency of the state is generating energy.  But that energy does not reach up to houses. In short first Mayawati government first gives subsidy for electric energy. Then install Solar Energy and yet again spend on Non Conventional Energy Sources.  This not only amounts to waste of expenditure of crores of rupees but is also a way of indulging in corruption, said Congress (I).
