Congress (I) General Secretary has blamed Mayawati government for financial irregularities in implementation of Janani Suraksha Yojna (JSY) which is one of the programs under National Rural Health Mission for encouraging institutional delivery of women belonging to Below Poverty Line. For this pregnant women on delivery get Rs 1400 while ASHA worker who help in ante and post naval care is also get services charges on case basis. People have been complaining about financial irregularities in implementation of this scheme. Few months earlier UP Congress (I) President Rita Bahuguna Joshi had filed in Lucknow RTI application in presence of Rahul Gandhi for seeking details of money spent on JSY and NRHM programs. Scrutiny of those records reveals that there was systematic stealing of funds by corrupt officials. As a result deserving women were deprived of their rights while corrupt Mayawati made money, said Congress (I).
