Rahul Gandhi: BJP ignorant about corruption in states ruled by it

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi while addressing an election rally in Uttarakhand asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) why it did not see corruption in BJP-ruled states.
"The BJP government in Uttarakhand had siphoned off funds meant for the Kumbh mela. The state government was also involved in a land scam,” said Rahul Gandhi. Taking a dig at the BJP the Congress general secretary asked, "Why does the BJP did not see corruption in the states ruled by it , like Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh?
"Corrupt ministers axed by Mayawati in UP are finding place in the BJP and Kushwaha is one of them," underlined Rahul Gandhi and added, "We (Congress) are committed to fighting corruption. The UPA government has introduced the Lokpal Bill in parliament".
Rahul Gandhi said that he wanted youngsters to join politics. He stressed that youngsters were not happy with the present political system and therefore they must join the mainstream.
"I am not in politics for 2-3 days or six months, I am in politics for another 15-20 years," said the Congress leader, adding that he was instrumental in infusing young blood in the frontal organizations - Youth Congress and NSUI. "We had initiated election procedure in NSUI and Youth Congress. What did BJP and opposition do?" Rahul Gandhi asked.
"We do politics after mingling with the common man while the BJP's style is different, they believe in holding press conferences," said the Congress General Secretary. Rahul Gandhi further said that opposition always made a fuss whenever he gets in touch with the common man.
