Blaming UP Chief Minister for the multiple ills rampant in her government, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has focused on core issues of the people of Uttar Pradesh – governance and development – during his recent public contact campaign in Uttar Pradesh. These issues concern every body in Uttar Parades irrespective of his or her caste, religion, vocation or calling no matter where he or she lives in the state, he said. To divert the attention from these critical and core issues Mayawati is again up in her old game of caste politics and throwing about promises to ‘other’ communities to garner their votes Mayawati is neither talking about corruption nor about crime in the state. She is not talking about development either. During his UP campaign Rahul Gandhi highlighted that Mayawati government looted the money which under MNREGA Scheme was meant for providing employment to the needy poor.
