Priyanka Gandhi Vadra while speaking at an election meeting at Ramganj, Amethi said that the biggest strength of the people in a democracy is the right to vote. She asked people to use this right intelligently so as to bring in positive changes in the state for the benefit of the future of the children.
Priyanka Gandhi said “Whatever decision you are going to take on15th will have two impacts. The first thing is about this constituency.. Rahul Ji is your member of parliament and as of now you have a Congress MLA too. The regions is benefitted by this because both MLA and MP work together to bring in development here”.
Urging the need for the MP and MLA be from the same party (Congress) Priyanka Gandhi said “If your MLA happens to be from any other party, then it is very difficult to work in tandem with the MP. That harms you as well as the development of your constituency. So it is very important that you have a Congress MLA from this place for the welfare of the people and the region”.
“You have experienced the way your MP and MLA work together in Amethi for the development of the region, listen to you and find solutions to your difficulties,” added Priyanka Gandhi. She has been campaigning in Amethi and Raebareli the constituencies of Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Sonia Gandhi respectively.
