Giving a big boost among the Congress workers in the region Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra campaigned together with a road show in Sultanpur.
Rahul Gandhi has been spearheading the Congress campaign in Uttar Pradesh where the assembly polls are already under way. He has been attending various rallies and election meetings at a number of places across the state. Rahul while addressing an election rally at Amethi had expressed sorry to the people of Amethi for not spending much time in Amethi. Striking an emotional chord with the people of Amethi he said that he would come back to Amethi after the elections and he will spend more time with the people. Rahul Gandhi also said that Amethi is his home.
After an impressive turnout in the first two phases, the third phase - slated for February 15 - will see the fate of 1.021 candidates being sealed across 10 districts.
Priyanka Gandhi, for one, has been campaigning extensively in Amethi and Rae Bareli over the last few days.
