It was a pleasant surprise for the people of Amethi when they saw - 12-year-old Raihan and 10-year-old Miraya - in a political rally in Amethi on Thursday along with their mother Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Priyanka Gandhi who has been on her campaign trial in Amethi and Raebareli addressed a number of election meetings in these regions and also undertook road show as part of her poll campaign in the state. Amethi and Raebareli are respectively the parliament constituencies of Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
This is the first time that the children could be seen during the poll campaign in a public event with their mother Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been camping in Amethi and Rae Bareli seeking support for the Congress.
While addressing various poll meetings Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urged the voters to support and elect Congress for the development in the state as well as the future of the people. She blamed the 22 years non-Congress rule for the pathetic state of affairs in the state and informed the people that this election is very crucial for the people in U.P.
