Congress (I) general secretary Rahul Gandhi has said the youth of UP this time cutting across caste and communities lines is no more in a mood to trust run-of-the-mill parties like BSP, SP and BJP. These parties put out big dreams to the people to snatch their votes but afterwards did nothing, Rahul Gandhi said while campaigning in Bulandshahr on for the Assembly elections. There are no employment opportunities in the state; nor are there quality education institutions. As a result youth has been forced to leave their homes in search for job in other states, he further said and added that UP people are treated badly in Maharashtra. Even for higher quality education the students have to move to other states. Reminding the audience that under Congress (I) rule UP was once a prosperous state and centre of academic excellence, Rahul Gandhi said the UP youth is now keen to put Congress (I) in Lucknow to change the present bad situation. He assured the people that this time if Congress (I) is voted to power it will provide responsive government and put the state on fast track development.
