Rahul Gandhi in UP: It is time to remove BSP, BJP and SP; support Congress

Blaming SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav for encouraging criminalism and casteism during his tenures as Chief Minister, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has scorned all his election promises as false and misleading. How many promises Mulayam fulfilled in the past, Rahul Gandhi had asked the crowd while addressing a public meeting in Allahabad recently as part of the Congress campaign.
Attacking SP’s promise to provide free electricity, Rahul Gandhi had said that there are no power plants built in the state for the past 22 years. Rahul Gandhi asked from where the electricity will come in such situations. About Mulayam’s claim to convert Bundelkhand into Israel, Rahul Gandhi said the people of Bundelkhand want water supply and not Israel.
Asserting the need for change to bring development, Rahul Gandhi said, “The youth needs to make Uttar Pradesh stand on its feet without wasting any more time. Twenty two years have already been wasted. It is time to remove BSP, BJP and Samajwadi Party.
Arguing that the people are fed up with this sort of drama by such non-Congress leaders, Rahul Gandhi asked the people to support Congress and assured that it will do all that to usher development in the state in next five years.
