Rahul Gandhi’s campaign helped swinging people towards Congress


Launching a blistering attack of parties like BSP, SP and BJP for  fooling the people in the name of religion, caste and creed over the last two decades, Rahul Gandhi by his relentless campaigning all over the state has succeeded in swinging the mood of the people in favor of Congress (I). Tell me why Uttar Pradesh is lagging behind in development while neighboring states like Haryana and Delhi are fast developing, had asked Rahul Gandhi during his public meetings for the recently held Assembly elections. While Congress (I) has been pumping thousands of crores of rupees for welfare of the dalits and the poor, why the benefits of such schemes are not reaching them, the Congress leader argued.  “Tell me one state which has not developed under Congress (I) rule,” he questioned. Why there are no job opportunities in the state which is forcing the youth to seek employment in other states, Rahul Gandhi added.  By this straight forward talk with the people in an interactive mode, Rahul Gandhi has convinced the people that development in the state is overdue.  Highlighting that the development cannot be left anymore to leaders like Mulayam and Mayawati who have repeatedly failed on deliver on their promises over the last 22 years, Rahul Gandhi has promised that this time if Congress (I) is voted to power it will development the state to No. 1 position and the people will be able to see the changes in only five years time.
