Congress President and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi said that her son and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has to decide on taking a bigger role in party affairs.
Amid reports that the heir apparent was set to assume bigger responsibility by September, Sonia Gandhi told the media, "No one can take a decision on his behalf. He has to take a decision”.
There have been demands within the Congress party that Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi should play a more pro-active role in the Congress and Government.
