Welfare and upliftment of poor has always been the mission of Sonia Gandhi, the Congress President and UPA Chairperson. It was Sonia Gandhi, who is the guiding force behind many welfare schemes of Congress-led UPA Government at the centre like MNREGA, Food Security Bill etc.
